Planars:


Each alignment plane has native creatures, known as planars. Each of these native creatures is written as a race; however, these races are not like normal races.

While these races are intended for NPC's, PC's can use them. You need your GM's express permission to play a planar race, and there is an additional penalty (explained later).

Shades:
Native to the Realm of Shadow.
Shades get +1 Dex and +1 Cha.
Shades are medium sized. This size has no effect.
Shades can create the effect of the spell Invisibility three times per day.
Shades move 30 feet per round.
Starting at CR 3, Shades get +1 to all Stealth and Deception checks.
Starting at CR 5, Shades have a 30 feet per round fly speed.
Racial Language: Dark.
Ages: 10-infinity

Demons:
Native to the Realm of Darkness.
Demons get +1 Cha and +1 Con.
Demons are medium sized. This size has no effect.
Demons have a natural attack with their retractable claws; this attack deals 1d8 damage.
Demons move 30 feet per round.
Starting at CR 3, Demons get +1 to all Diplomacy checks and immunity to fire.
Starting at CR 5, Demons have a 30 feet per round fly speed.
Racial Language: Abyssal.
Ages: 10-infinity

Archons:
Native to the Realm of Light.
Archons get +1 Dex and +1 Wis.
Archons are medium sized. This size has no effect.
Archons can create the effect of the spell Cure Minor Wounds as often as they see fit.
Archons move 30 feet per round.
Starting at CR 3, Archons can create the effect of the spell Create Water as often as they see fit (spell level 0 or 1, archons choice).
Starting at CR 5, Archons have a 30 feet per round fly speed.
Racial Language: Celestial.
Ages: 10-infinity

Planar Penalty:


As planars are stronger than the races listed in "Rules and Races", there is a penalty assessed for playing one. The first level of a planar must be in Commoner.
